Bridging Korean Business with Global Opportunities

What is WKBC?
The World Korean Business Convention (WKBC), formerly known as “Hansang,” is the largest Korean business convention in the world. Since its inception in 2002, WKBC has connected small to mid-sized Korean businesses with the global market, attracting around 3,000 participants from 60 countries annually. In 2023, for the first time, the convention was held in the U.S., bringing the K-wave of business excellence, including industries like K-pop, K-food, and K-drama, to Orange County.

Who is Behind WKBC?
WKBC is organized by the Overseas Koreans Agency (OKA) and the Overseas Koreans Economic Organizations (OKEO). The 2023 event was co-hosted by the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of USA (KACCUSA) and the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (KACCOC).

When and Where was WKBC?
The 2023 WKBC took place from October 11-14, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. This marked the first time the convention was held outside of South Korea.

Who Participated?
The event was open to businesses, sponsors, government entities, nonprofits, vendors, and individuals interested in the Korean business community. Participants took part in networking, matchmaking, and learning opportunities.
