The Federation of Korean American Chambers of Commerce (FKACC, President Kyung Chul Lee) has launched a large-scale promotional campaign to ensure the success of the 23rd World Korean Business Convention (WKBC), which will be held from April 17 to 20 at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Notably, the Atlanta Braves, the Major League Baseball (MLB) team based in Georgia, will set up a promotional booth at the WKBC venue and host various programs throughout the event to promote the team.
The Braves’ booth will feature a photo zone with the team’s symbols in the background, where visitors can take commemorative photos and participate in various prize giveaways. A representative noted, “WKBC, where Korean business leaders from around the world gather, is a great opportunity to meet new fans,” adding, “With the 2025 season just around the corner, we expect the brand exposure effect to be significant.”
Approximately 3,000 Korean business leaders from 40 countries around the world are expected to attend the 23rd WKBC, and the event is projected to attract more than 7,000 daily visitors.
This will be the first WKBC held in North America, making it the largest and most highly anticipated edition yet.
The WKBC Organizing Committee is preparing various programs aimed at helping Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand exports and enter global markets. Beyond being a business convention, the event is also being shaped into a platform for Korean cultural exchange.
During the convention, attendees will be able to enjoy a variety of cultural events, including Korean food experiences, K-POP performances, taekwondo demonstrations, and traditional Korean music and dance performances. These programs will allow participants to fully engage with Korean culture through all five senses.
Additionally, WKBC promotions are already underway via large billboards along major highways in Georgia, drawing strong interest from both the local community and drivers even before the event begins.
The 23rd WKBC is expected to surpass previous conventions, which drew over 2,000 global Korean business leaders and company representatives. It is anticipated to be the largest business event of its kind, contributing significantly to the economic revitalization of Georgia and raising the status of the Korean American community.
