Signing MOU with the Federation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises… Jointly Promoting Next Year’s ‘K-Goods Fair’

The Korean American Chamber of Commerce (Chairman Hwang Byung-gu, hereinafter referred to as KACCE) successfully held its 71st board meeting and 44th extraordinary general meeting, along with workshops, at the Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, from August 29 to 31. The event was graced by the presence of 78 regional chamber presidents and executives from across the United States, as well as Kim Ki-moon, the chairman of the Federation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises.

During the meetings held throughout the event, various topics were discussed in depth, including ▲ revitalization of regional chambers ▲ nurturing next-generation leadership ▲ hosting global exhibitions ▲ strengthening Korea-U.S. economic cooperation. In particular, KACCE and the Federation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and agreed to jointly host the K-Goods Fair in Las Vegas next year. Under this agreement, they will closely collaborate on all aspects of the exhibition, including recruiting participating companies, promotion, and sourcing local buyers, actively supporting the entry of Korean small and medium enterprises into the U.S. market and expanding exports.

Chairman Hwang Byung-gu emphasized during the general meeting that “enhancing the rights and interests of Korean American entrepreneurs and discovering next-generation leaders are core tasks of KACCE,” and stated, “Collaboration with the Federation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises will be an important turning point for the prosperity of the Korea-U.S. economic community and the continuous growth of the chambers of commerce.”

Chairman Kim Ki-moon of the Federation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises also remarked, “The U.S. market is an important stage that Korean small and medium enterprises must explore,” adding, “Through this collaboration, I hope our companies can achieve tangible results by utilizing the local Korean American chamber network.”

This Las Vegas general meeting and workshop were not merely reports on organizational affairs but presented a blueprint for the unity of Korean American entrepreneurs and their entry into the global stage. KACCE plans to use this achievement as a stepping stone to continuously promote the expansion of exchanges between Korean and American small and medium enterprises, strengthen next-generation leadership, and expand global networks.
