The Korea Chapter of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA) appointed Park Kyu-hong as its Korea Chapter representative on Jan. 31, 2026, the organization said.
The appointment is aimed at strengthening private-sector networks to support Korean companies entering the U.S. market and to expand Korea–U.S. economic cooperation projects.
Founded in New York in 1980, KACCUSA is a nonprofit private economic organization representing a nationwide network of 78 local Korean American chambers of commerce across all 50 U.S. states. Over the past 46 years, the organization has supported the rights and economic growth of Korean American business owners while promoting trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between Korea and the United States.
The Korea Chapter serves as a cooperation hub for Korean companies and institutions. Its activities include providing information to companies in the early stages of U.S. market entry, connecting businesses to local networks, facilitating partner discovery and buyer matching, and linking companies to events and exhibitions, with a focus on delivering practical, results-oriented support.
KACCUSA has also expanded Korea–U.S. economic cooperation agendas and private-sector networking through its Business Summit held on Dec. 5, 2025. Building on its experience organizing the World Korean Business Convention (WKBC) in Anaheim, California, in 2023 and in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2025, the organization continues to refine exchange and performance-driven cooperation models between Korean and U.S. companies.
Park leads SIT Technology, where he has built technology-based business capabilities and corporate networks. Centered on Park’s leadership, the Korea Chapter plans to expand private-sector cooperation channels essential for Korean companies entering the U.S. market and to strengthen the operation of practice-focused programs.
Following the appointment, the Korea Chapter said it will further systematize Korea–U.S. networks and expand member-focused support programs, including buyer and partner matching, market entry seminars, and joint projects, to actively support Korean companies’ U.S. market expansion and sustainable performance creation.
