About KACCUSA
Founding Background and History
The Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA) was officially established on November 5, 1980, in New York, based on Korean American chambers of commerce that had organically formed across the United States in the mid to late 1970s. As a representative federation of Korean American business leaders, KACCUSA has since served as a vital bridge for Korea–U.S. economic cooperation, contributing to the growth and development of the Korean American business community.

Organization and Membership Structure
Regional chambers of commerce in major U.S. cities participate as member organizations, with business leaders actively engaged across diverse industries including trade, manufacturing, distribution, services, and professional sectors. Building on this network, KACCUSA works to protect the interests of its members, share economic information and business opportunities, and contribute to the development of local communities.
Our Role & Vision
Key Roles and Vision
KACCUSA serves as a core bridge for Korea–U.S. economic cooperation, supporting Korean American business leaders in strengthening their competitiveness in the global market. It actively promotes the growth of Korean American businesses while facilitating the U.S. market entry of Korean SMEs, contributing to bilateral economic development through practical business exchange. In addition, KACCUSA is building a strong foundation for the next generation of Korean American economic leaders through collaboration and leadership development.
Membership & Organization
International Network and Key Achievements
In the 1990s, KACCUSA played a key role in the establishment of the World Federation of Korean Businessmen (WFKB) and has since served as a core partner of the World Korean Business Convention hosted by the Overseas Koreans Agency. In 2023, it successfully hosted the 21st convention in Orange County, California, the first held overseas, and in 2025 will co-host the 23rd convention in Atlanta, Georgia, further strengthening Korea–U.S. SME and startup cooperation.
Partnership & Future Direction
Collaboration with U.S. Mainstream Society
KACCUSA works closely with the U.S. mainstream community, federal and state government agencies, and local governments to enhance the standing of Korean American business leaders and support regional economic development through joint initiatives and networking. Going forward, KACCUSA will strengthen cooperation with key economic institutions to support the U.S. expansion of Korean SMEs, nurture the next generation of business leaders, and further advance Korea–U.S. economic cooperation as a sustainable, forward-looking global platform.
